Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Supervisor to join our team at Brightpath Associates LLC. As a key member of our commercial HVAC services team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and leadership to ensure a competent and highly qualified workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and job site leadership to ensure a competent and highly qualified workforce
  • Redeem customer commitments in a professional, high-quality, and timely manner while maximizing gross profit margins
  • Effectively manage and control equipment, material, tool utilization, and costs while assuring proper staffing and efficient field operations
  • Audit required documents before the start of work to ensure all pertinent information is included
  • Provide current input and actively participate in regular review meetings on work progress, customer relations, field relations, internal administration, and other matters affecting service operations
  • Expedites and achieves schedules through the dispatcher
  • Return unused materials to suppliers for credit
  • Closes all completed jobs and expedites release for billing
  • Provides sales personnel with leads and alerts sales personnel about competitive sales efforts
  • Ensures customer concerns are responded to quickly and efficiently while building and maintaining customer confidence and satisfaction
  • Able to influence and drive customer satisfaction
  • Effectively communicates relevant information to customers regarding their systems
  • Reports customer relations activity affecting customer satisfaction
  • Trains all levels of service technicians, apprentices, and interns
  • Mentors service representatives on how to solve problems independently
  • Develops and implements programs to improve the skills of individual technicians and the work group as a whole
  • Balances team and individual responsibilities
  • Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views
  • Ensures staff have read and are familiar with all safety procedures and manuals
  • Audits the performance of staff and recommends appropriate personnel actions
  • Keeps technical knowledge up to date as to equipment and concepts
  • Able to access rooftop units and work at heights and in some cases tight or enclosed spaces
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of commercial service technician field experience
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and currently maintain a safe driving record as required by the company's insurance provider
