Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Pediatric Nephrologist to join our growing team of pediatric specialists at St. Luke's Children's Hospital. About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage various kidney disorders in children, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and electrolyte imbalances.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating medication therapy, lifestyle modifications, and other interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, surgeons, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Participate in educational programs and conferences to stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric nephrology.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a pediatric nephrology fellowship program.
  • Board certification in pediatric nephrology.
  • Current licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
