We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Christus Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their respiratory needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Respiratory Care Plans: Implement and manage respiratory care plans for patients, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
- Diagnostic Procedures: Perform various diagnostic procedures, such as chest film analysis, blood gas collection and analysis, and EKG analysis.
- Equipment Management: Clean and stock equipment and supplies as necessary to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Team Leadership: Function as a Shift Leader or Team Leader, providing guidance and support to other Respiratory Therapists as needed.
- Education: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required.
- Experience: Per Diem As Needed schedule.
