Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician II is a critical member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. With a strong background in maintenance and a keen eye for detail, this individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems, including conveyors, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems, including conveyors, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Recommend equipment upgrades and improvements to support zero unscheduled downtime.
  • Apply technical expertise to improve and maintain facilities and equipment.
  • Maintain validated parameters and CMMS records to ensure timely release of orders and meet quality control specifications.
  • Assist in equipment-related recommendations to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Partner with the maintenance team to implement methods that maximize equipment reliability.
  • Monitor and control equipment operation to ensure compliance with SOPs and CMMS guidelines.
  • Complete documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repair work, and failures using CMMs.
  • Participate in the assessment of semi-complex product/equipment performance and recommend modifications and improvements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years related maintenance/facilities experience in one or multiple trades.
  • Strong PC skills, including Outlook, Excel, and software navigation for programming.
  • Ability to interpret and understand maintenance manuals and electrical equipment schematics.
  • Ability to partner and support third-party vendors while onsite.
  • Knowledge and experience in industrial equipment mechanics.
  • Able to identify problems and articulate resolution.
  • Ability to safely operate motorized equipment.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk throughout a shift.
  • Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.
  • Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position.
