Aerotek is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Warren, MI. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving and verifying incoming materials, unloading materials from delivery trucks, inspecting materials for damage, organizing and maintaining inventory levels, and preparing materials for production.
Key Responsibilities- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials around the warehouse
- Inspect materials for damage and report any issues to management
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient production
- Prepare materials for production by packaging and labeling them
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse and storage areas
- Forklift operation experience
- Material handling equipment operation
- Inventory management skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
