Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop a team of associates to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
  • Store Operations: Assist the team leader in analysis of sales, reports, and labor, and participate in annual sales and expense projections and budget preparation.
  • Customer Service: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, and direct team members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
  • Inventory Management: Assist the team leader with ordering and inventory management, and maintain awareness of product availability and stock levels.
  • Training and Development: Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel team members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
Requirements
  • Experience: 18+ months retail team member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy. Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitor profitability, and manage inventory. Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds. In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours. Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
  • Environmental Factors: Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals. Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Ability to work in a wet and cold environment. Ability to handle knives and other cutting equipment.
