We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
Job SummaryThis is a travel nurse position with a maximum assignment duration of 7 days. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Care and be certified in BLS and ACLS. You will work with a team of experienced nurses to provide care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the CVICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions, including chest pain, STEMI/NSTEMI, new onset CHF/CHF exacerbation, AAA, syncope, Vtach, heart failure, ACS, COPD, PAD, and stroke.
- Perform vascular procedures, including TCAR, EVAR, carotid endarterectomy, AAA repair, thrombectomy, and cardiac catheterization (with and without PCI).
- Use Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems to manage patient care and communicate with the team.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care.
- Certified in BLS and ACLS.
- Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays.
