Job Overview
First Coast Security is a leading provider of security services, committed to excellence, courage, integrity, and professionalism. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Armed Female Security Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protect and secure company assets and spaces
  • Conduct routine foot patrols and interact with patients, visitors, staff, and public
  • Sound alarm or place necessary calls to authorities in case of emergency
  • Control and supervise entrance of individuals and vehicles
  • Evaluate problems related to security and take preventative actions
  • Investigate and handle disturbances, and obtain police assistance as needed
  • Complete daily activity reports and other mandated reports

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid "G" security license with 2 years Armed Security experience
  • OR prior Military, Law Enforcement, or Corrections experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean criminal background and pass drug test
  • Able to work up to 12 hours shifts

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Able to move over 25 lbs
  • Must be able to stand/sit for long periods and ascend/descend stairs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to answer phones and/or operate a radio
  • Able to write reports using Microsoft Word
  • Informed violators of policy and procedures
  • Impeccable character/integrity
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all times
  • Good interpersonal skills
