Kapital Data Corp is seeking a seasoned and proficient Senior Power Platform Developer.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with creating applications utilizing Microsoft Power Platform components, such as Power Apps (including both canvas and model-driven applications) and Power Automate, while adhering to established best practices and methodologies.


The successful applicant should possess strong communication abilities to effectively engage in both technical discussions and business requirement evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure Dataverse for optimal performance.
  • Develop and configure Power Apps and Power Automate solutions (both Canvas and Model-driven Apps).
  • Implement business process automation effectively.
  • Facilitate functionality discovery workshops and gather requirements.
  • Demonstrate programming proficiency in .NET, SQL, Azure, and C#.
  • Analyze business challenges, map functional solutions to identified use cases, and develop applications using Power Platform.
  • Integrate APIs or REST services while understanding how to implement solutions with multiple data sources.
  • Hold certifications in PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer.
  • Engage in code review processes.
  • Uphold standards and best practices throughout development.
  • Troubleshoot Power Platform issues, document solutions, and collaborate with system administrators and IT resources to implement fixes.
  • Design solutions and document common use case scenarios.
  • Preferred experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator).
  • Create and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) regarding platform usage.
  • Prepare mockups and prototypes based on requirements, leveraging knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to propose solutions that fulfill business needs.
  • Adhere to best practices in implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform's utilization at Kapital Data Corp.
  • Participate in Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Skills and Experience:
IT experience as a Senior Developer/Technical Lead: 8 years
Experience in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services: 5 years
Proficiency in designing, implementing, and migrating solutions utilizing Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate: 3 years
Experience with PowerShell scripting: 4 years
Custom development experience using .NET, JavaScript, and C#: 5 years
Familiarity with standard and premium connectors in PowerApps and Power Automate: 3 years
Experience with MS Access and VBA for understanding and redesigning Power Apps: 3 years
Developing Azure logic apps and functions to support Power Automate: 3 years
DevOps in Power Platform: Desired 2 years.
