XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a skilled Night Shift Research Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

  • Review inspection reports to identify potential issues.
  • Conduct inspections of shipments on the dock utilizing handheld devices.
  • Review BOL and billing descriptions to verify accuracy.
  • Gather information related to the shipment, including dimensions, product details, and other relevant factors.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of inspection reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze data from handheld devices to ensure accurate and efficient processing of shipments.
  • Verify the accuracy of BOL and billing descriptions to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role, such as supply chain analyst or operations researcher.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
