Position Overview
Sells TruGreen services in the residential sector to both new and existing clientele. Engagement methods include face-to-face interactions and outbound telemarketing. Accountable for meeting sales objectives and implementing sales strategies within assigned regions.

Generates and secures new residential sales revenue by scheduling appointments with potential customers who request quotes online or via phone, as well as by prospecting neighboring households.

Participates in home and garden exhibitions to attract new residential leads. Oversees small teams of temporary staff for designated areas. Implements various campaigns throughout the season to enhance growth and promote additional services to current customers. Engages directly with customers for retention initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Market residential lawn care, tree and shrub maintenance, and pest control services to both new and existing clients within your assigned territory through direct sales and telemarketing efforts.

Responsible for reaching out to prospects, arranging appointments, and adhering to a structured schedule. Generates additional revenue by upselling new services to existing clients. Cultivates customer relationships, promotes value-added services, and addresses inquiries to overcome objections. Provides product offerings that align with customer needs, finalizes sales, and gathers referrals. Collects customer contact and payment details for each transaction.

Responsible for addressing incoming inquiries from potential and current customers to assist with questions or concerns regarding their existing services and other offerings they may be interested in.

Ensures customer satisfaction by collaborating with the service delivery team to enhance customer retention. Generates leads through market events such as home and garden shows, and trade exhibitions.

Compensation:
Average earnings range from $875 to $1,200 per week (based on an annual salary plus average commissions for qualifying representatives).
Education and Experience Requirements
Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
Direct outside sales or professional marketing experience is advantageous.

A reliable vehicle for transportation to property visits is required (mileage reimbursement or car allowance is available).

A valid, current driver's license is mandatory; subject to pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record check, and proof of insurance is required.
Must obtain pesticide certification as mandated by federal, state, or local regulations (specific states required).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to gain comprehensive knowledge of TruGreen's products and services (training provided).

Exhibit consultative selling skills and organizational follow-up capabilities (demonstrated in resume through past work experience, showcased in an interview setting).

Proficiency with modern technology including mobile devices, computers, and email.
Ability to implement prospecting strategies for identifying and closing new accounts.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with both internal colleagues and external customers.
Ability to present services to clients in a professional manner.
Strong time management, organizational, and leadership abilities.
