Position Summary:
The Home Health Aide (HHA) is responsible for delivering essential personal care and companionship services to clients in their homes, following a structured care plan to ensure their comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care:
    • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
    • Support mobility through safe transfers and ambulation, and help with toileting and meal preparation.
  • Companionship and Household Support:
    • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
    • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Medication Assistance:
    • Help clients manage their medications as prescribed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide or Certified Nurse Aide training program.
  • Minimum of six months experience in a similar role.
  • Must be listed in good standing on the State's Caregiver Registry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
