Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Test Fuel Pumps: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on fuel pumps to identify any issues or defects.
- Maintain Shop Equipment: Ensure all shop tools and test equipment are in good working order and properly maintained.
- Service and Maintain Testing Equipment: Regularly service and maintain all testing and cleaning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in Equipment Breakdown and Cleaning: Assist in breaking down and cleaning equipment as needed to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Rebuild Diesel Pumps and Injectors: Assist in rebuilding diesel pumps and injectors to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Support Colleagues: Assist other technicians as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our maintenance team.
- Train New Employees: May be responsible for assisting in the training of new employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Maintain a Clean Work Environment: Ensure the shop, shop bathrooms, and break area are clean and well-maintained.
- Support Quality Customer Service: Assist in other tasks as needed to ensure quality customer service and support.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong Mechanical Background: Must have a strong mechanical background and be able to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Effective Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Own Tools: Must have own tools and be able to use them effectively.
- Customer Service Experience: Must have customer service experience and be able to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Loud Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment may become loud.
- Frequent Movement: Frequently required to move about to access parts.
- Communication with Customers: Required to frequently communicate with customers regarding parts.
- Physical Activity: May be required to constantly position self to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift in excess of 80 lbs.
- Airborne Particles: Is occasionally exposed to airborne particles.
- Outside Weather Conditions: The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions.
