We are seeking to recruit a Senior 5G Core Network Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus on IMS troubleshooting and support.
  • Oversee 5G lab operations and ensure smooth functionality.
  • Manage Fault, Configuration, Administration, and Performance (FCAP) support.
  • Develop and track daily and hourly KPI dashboards, concentrating on critical Core KPIs related to the lab.
  • Analyze internal traces and logs to assist in diagnosing issues during lab and field tests.
  • Initiate Assistance Requests (ARs) for any encountered issues and collaborate until resolution.
  • Collect necessary logs and traces to address ARs effectively.
  • Monitor alarms and respond to any exceptional system alerts.
  • Troubleshoot site-level issues, providing support for both Level 1 and Level 2 inquiries.
  • Engage in diagnosing and resolving network issues involving defined Core Network Elements (CNEs).
  • Support network operations and assist O&M staff with daily tasks.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and daily health checks on designated CNEs.
  • Perform high-level analysis and provide technical consultancy.
  • Enhance end-user experience for 5G services, focusing on voice and data.
  • Offer guidance on cloud operations related to in-scope Network Elements.
  • Participate in relevant conference calls and meetings.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with core network systems is advantageous.
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset with a focus on Packet Core.
  • Proficient in handling tickets and analyzing protocols, trace data, and logs.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

A bachelor's or master's degree, or an equivalent advanced qualification.
