About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aerial Lineman to join our team at Kanaan Communications, LLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cable, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
  • Safely operate mechanized equipment, including bucket trucks and digger derricks
  • Set up safety perimeters and flag traffic as required
  • Understand and adhere to separation and clearance regulations
  • Maintain safe working habits and conditions according to all regulations and policies
Requirements
  • At least 18 years old
  • Authorized to work in the United States for Kanaan Communications, LLC
  • Pass a DOT physical exam and hold a valid medical card
  • Hold a valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry
  • Knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
  • Ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck
  • Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
  • Ability to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, and on-call
