Job Summary: We are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to create fresh, delicious meals for our patients and residents. The ideal candidate will have a background in culinary arts and be able to prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu.
  • Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu.
  • Ensure that food prepared is of proper quantity and in accordance with established time schedules.
  • Utilize correct portion control utensils during the preparation and duration of food service.
  • Check and maintain proper food temperatures during food preparation and services.
  • Ensure that an adequate supply of food, supplies, etc. are available at all times.
Requirements:
  • Must possess at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have, as a minimum, 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
  • Food handler's permit required.
  • Must be able to speak, understand, and write fluently in English.
