Job Title: Perioperative Services Director

This Regional hospital is a unique blend of big and small, offering a dynamic work environment that is both challenging and rewarding. The hospital is currently undergoing exciting changes with the construction of a new ambulatory care center adjacent to the hospital. The CEO is forward-thinking and seeks leaders with innovative ideas to drive growth and maintain exceptional standards of care. The hospital has a strong CNO who has been with the system for 18 years.

The Director of Perioperative Services will oversee the Main OR, Pre-Op, PACU, and Endo departments. The campus has four ORs and plans to expand to six ORs in 2025. The Director will have 90 FTEs, two managers, and report directly to the CNO. The CNO is looking for a candidate who is patient and people-centric, yet business-savvy. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with physicians, experience with block scheduling, and optimization expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the perioperative services team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other stakeholders to build strong relationships and drive growth.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and personnel to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements:

  • RN, BSN required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of surgical services experience, with 4 years in clinical nurse leadership over the Main OR.
  • Director-level experience required.

Salary Range: The salary midpoint for this role is $160,000, based on years of experience, education, and prior scope of work.
