As an Associate Data Scientist at T-Mobile, you will be responsible for applying statistical, machine learning, and AI techniques to address business problems. You will collaborate with technical and non-technical business collaborators on various challenges to build real business value from data.
Job Responsibilities- Develop analytical solutions to solve business problems;
- Pre-process and perform exploratory data analysis on structured and unstructured data;
- Build features based on expertise in the domain;
- Use predictive modeling techniques and statistical analysis to predict outcomes and behaviors;
Our team uses the Agile methodology to ensure alignment of data science roadmap, features, and stories to business priorities and value streams. We partner with leaders across T-Mobile to understand the 'art of the possible' and identify AI/ML opportunities to grow our business, reduce costs, handle risk, detect anomalous behavior, forecast/predict outcomes, and delight our customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in quantitative subject area (math, statistics, analytics, data science, economics, computer science, physics, engineering) or equivalent experience;
- Advanced Degree in quantitative subject area (Preferred);
- 0-2+ years of experience in predictive modeling, data science, machine learning, highly developed analytics, visualization and AI in a Data scientist role, ML Scientist, or Deep learning scientist role;
- Good Knowledge of Python and SQL;
- Confirmed understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques related to supervised and unsupervised learning.

The estimated salary for this position is $67,800 - $122,300 per year, depending on location and experience.
