Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Area Representative to join our team in FCA Sports. As an Area Representative, you will play a vital role in advancing the FCA mission and vision in your assigned area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Ministerial Duties:
- Agree with and abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement.
- Follow a spiritual rhythm, including daily prayer and Bible study, to seek the Lord's will for FCA.
- Lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example.
- Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs.
- Ministry Advancement:
- Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes through one-on-one ministry, Huddles, and Events.
- Train and equip staff and volunteers to empower coaches and athletes to be disciples who make disciples in the Sports Environments.
- Talent Advancement:
- Oversee recruiting, training, and developing effective and diverse volunteers who lead coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
- Board Advancement:
- Invite, involve, and invest in an Advisory Team committed to prayer, service, and giving.
- Donor Advancement:
- Connect, communicate, and care for existing and prospective financial partners to achieve full funding.
- Manage and steward finances for the assigned area of responsibility.
- Establish and execute an annual budget and funding plan.
- International Advancement:
- Work with the Director to serve the aligned International Region through prayer, giving, and going.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is a non-profit organization that uses sports as a platform to share the Gospel and disciple athletes, coaches, and their families. Our mission is to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
