Dietitian II

Job Title: Dietitian II Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian II to join our team at the Health & Human Services Comm. As a Dietitian II, you will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to patients in a state hospital setting. You will evaluate patients' nutritional status, develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans, and provide education and counseling to patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: * Evaluate patients' nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition care plans * Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients in a state hospital setting * Educate and counsel patients and their families on nutrition and dietetics * Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement nutrition care plans * Conduct quality assessment and monitoring of nutrition services Requirements: * Current registration as a Dietitian (R.D. or R.D.N) with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Commission on Dietetic Registration and/or current licensure as a Dietitian (L.D.) with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians * Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in dietetics, food and nutrition, food systems management, food science, or a related field * Experience in dietitian or nutrition work Working Conditions: * Work in a fast-paced healthcare environment * Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement nutrition care plans * Conduct quality assessment and monitoring of nutrition services What We Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Collaborative and supportive work environment How to Apply: If you are a motivated and experienced Dietitian II looking for a new challenge, please submit your application to join our team at the Health & Human Services Comm.
