Role Overview: We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic WordPress Specialist with 1-3 years of relevant experience to become a part of our vibrant team at our Lafayette office. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of WordPress development and a genuine passion for building high-quality, tailored websites. This position demands a blend of back-end and front-end expertise and will involve both new project development and the upkeep of existing sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and tailor WordPress websites from the ground up.
• Manage and implement WordPress themes and plugins effectively.
• Work collaboratively with our design and SEO teams to ensure smooth integration and optimal performance.
• Guarantee that websites are fully responsive and optimized for various devices and browsers.
• Diagnose and resolve website issues promptly.
• Conduct regular updates, backups, and maintenance of WordPress sites.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our projects up-to-date.
• Assist in the maintenance of our existing websites, providing routine upkeep and addressing client requests.

Qualifications:

• Local candidates only.
• 1-3 years of experience in WordPress development.
• Proficient in HTML and CSS; knowledge of JavaScript and PHP is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience with Elementor is preferred.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce is a plus.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance enhancement.
• Strong grasp of responsive design principles.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
