Early Childhood Education Center Director Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Education to lead daily operations at our early childhood education center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the educational program and ensuring that a developmentally appropriate curriculum is consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the education center, ensuring seamless execution of programs and services.
- Implement and maintain a developmentally appropriate curriculum, aligning with industry best practices and standards.
- Conduct regular observations of teaching staff, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance instructional delivery.
- Develop and execute ongoing training and professional development programs for staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Manage student assessments, review teacher lesson plans, and ensure educational goals are met across the center.
- Maintain effective communication with families, keeping them informed about their child's progress and any important updates.
- Lead marketing efforts to maintain full enrollment in the program, leveraging your expertise to drive recruitment and retention strategies.
- New York State Teaching Certification (Birth–2nd Grade or Grades 1–6).
- A minimum of a BA/BS degree in Early Childhood Education (Master's preferred).
- At least 2 years of classroom experience with children under 6 years old.
- Leadership experience in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong computer, verbal, and written communication skills.
