About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Harvest Hill Beverage Company. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all electrical and mechanical equipment in our plant and surrounding facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions down to circuit board level, ensuring all electrical and mechanical equipment is functioning properly.
  • Equipment Installation and Dismantling: Install and dismantle machinery and equipment, and overhaul machinery by tearing down equipment and repairing or replacing damaged machine parts.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance duties, such as greasing and oiling equipment, to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Identify and communicate equipment issues to the Maintenance Manager, and provide solutions to resolve problems.
  • Adherence to Safety Protocols: Ensure all tasks and functions are performed in a safe manner, adhering to company rules, regulations, and GMPs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, and 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or electrician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Possess excellent technical and critical thinking skills, and be well-versed in a broad spectrum of trades.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures and customer specifications, and effectively communicate with colleagues and management.
Working Environment

The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional exposure to noise and physical demands. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
