Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from various destinations within the hospital, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist patients with mobility issues, providing support and care as needed.
  • Operate hospital equipment, such as wheelchairs and stretchers, to transport patients safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure smooth transportation and care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control guidelines and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and efficient transportation of patients and supplies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and push/pull equipment as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations is essential. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
