Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN or RN to join our team. As a nursing professional, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our staff to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Administer basic nursing care to residents, adhering to our facility's policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents and respond accordingly, based on nursing standards and best practices.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring residents' needs are met and their care is properly planned.
  • Monitor residents' conditions, recording significant changes and notifying physicians as necessary.
  • Document interventions and resident/family education, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Take vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other essential measurements.
  • Respond to life-saving situations, adhering to nursing standards, policies, and protocols.
  • Supervise C.N.A.s, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Administer medication according to doctor's orders and established policies and procedures.
  • Conduct narcotics counts and maintain emergency kits/EDKs.
  • Follow Admission, Discharge, and Transfer procedures, ensuring seamless transitions for residents.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, documenting their orders and ensuring timely implementation.
  • Address resident and family complaints and requests, providing prompt and courteous service.
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Iowa license.
  • Successful completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse program.
