Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners. You will work closely with our radiology team to ensure that patients receive exceptional care and that imaging studies are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients correctly and ensure that they are comfortable and secure during the scanning process
  • Adjust scanning parameters to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that imaging studies are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and imaging studies
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure that imaging equipment is functioning properly and that imaging studies are completed to the highest standards
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1+ year of experience in radiology, preferably in CT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
