Position Overview

As a vital member of our Cake Team, you will be responsible for the artistic creation and presentation of our cakes, pastries, and desserts. Your passion for confectionery artistry will shine through in every creation, ensuring that our guests experience the joy and satisfaction that comes from beautifully crafted treats.

Key Responsibilities

• Scale, decorate, and produce a variety of desserts, pastries, and cakes with precision and creativity.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of production methods and the organization of confectionery processes.
• Continuously learn and master new products and techniques, sharing your knowledge with fellow team members.
• Adhere to sanitization protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Manage time effectively while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
• Ensure all recipes and production procedures are followed accurately.
• Present cakes attractively for both internal and external customers.
• Prepare creams and sauces essential for cake and pastry decoration.
• Receive, stock, and store ingredients in an orderly manner.
• Communicate any equipment issues promptly and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food production processes, including sanitization and quality control.
• Understanding of food safety, microbiology, and sanitary practices.
• Preferred background in Confectionery/Food studies.
• Food Handlers Certificate is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to work with diverse teams.
