Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Kahak Healthcare Services.

Job Summary:

  • Provide personalized support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, fostering a culture of respect and empathy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and community outings, providing transportation and support as needed.
  • Participate in housekeeping tasks, maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client behavior or health status to the care team.

Requirements:

  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clearance of background check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
