We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at Empire Auto Parts, LLC. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Verify and reconcile expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Process payments to vendors, including verification of federal ID numbers and review of purchase orders.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial reports and office records.
- Manage petty cash, ensuring accurate records and timely distribution.
- Calculate and report sales tax based on paid invoices.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other accounting software programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 18 years of age.
