Work Schedule: PT (11:30 AM - 7:30 PM and 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM)

We are seeking a compassionate and meticulous Dietary Aide to provide essential support in meal preparation and service. This role is vital in ensuring that residents' dietary requirements and preferences are honored. You will contribute significantly to creating a safe and pleasant dining atmosphere, enhancing the overall satisfaction and well-being of our residents. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for serving the elderly community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, deliver, and serve meals as instructed.
  • Ensure meals are visually appealing, palatable, and served in accordance with portion control guidelines, in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Cook in meal preparation and verify diet trays post-distribution.
  • Organize kitchen, food, and supplies for upcoming meals.
  • Maintain cleanliness by returning utensils to designated storage and ensuring a tidy, hazard-free work area.
  • Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a dietary aide or in food handling is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A sincere commitment to supporting the elderly population.
  • Ability to foster an environment of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and tranquility.
  • Must obtain a Food Handler's Card within 30 days of starting employment.
