Job Summary

We are seeking a nurturing and caring Pre-Kindergarten teacher to implement and support activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a safe and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and care for a group of children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
  • Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis and make recommendations for support.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a licensed early childhood program.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
