Champions Funding LLC is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Closer/Funder to join our team. As a Mortgage Closer/Funder, you will be responsible for coordinating all phases of loan closing, ensuring all paperwork is complete, accurate, and compliant with legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Loan Closing Coordination: Prepare loan closing packages, communicate with all parties involved in the transaction, and ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate.
- Document Review: Review documents with customers, explain mortgages' legal and financial aspects, and communicate with banks and other institutions.
- Closing Process Management: Manage and resolve any concerns, problems, and documentation issues, and act as an intermediary between all parties involved in mortgage loan transactions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure closing details comply with state and federal regulations, and coordinate mortgage closing proceedings.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate closing schedules, perform wire setup, complete due diligence on loan files, communicate with field and warehouse banks, disburse loans, and reconcile warehouse lines daily.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant loan closing experience, with current Non-QM experience preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and Excel, with great attention to detail and accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
