As a Travel Contract Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Cardiothoracic ICU department
  • Implement and manage patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Direct and supervise nursing personnel assigned to the unit
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of Kansas
  • Minimum three years of experience in Cardiothoracic ICU/Telemetry
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
  • TNCC Certification
  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
