Position SummaryThe Hotel Room Attendant is responsible for the thorough cleaning, restocking, and upkeep of assigned hotel rooms to enhance both guest satisfaction and employee efficiency. This role involves executing additional responsibilities as needed to maintain our high service standards.

Key Responsibilities- Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in training materials.
- Receive and prioritize cleaning assignments from management.
- Check and replenish cleaning supplies as necessary.
- Complete room cleaning tasks efficiently, aiming for 30 minutes or less per room.
- Respect guest privacy by announcing oneself before entering occupied rooms.
- Replace soiled linens and towels with fresh items.
- Report any signs of pest issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure beds are neatly made and bathrooms are cleaned according to hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of surfaces and mirrors in guest rooms.
- Vacuum floors and manage waste disposal.
- Restock complimentary items in guest rooms as per hotel guidelines.
- Conduct a final inspection to ensure rooms meet quality standards.
- Notify management of room readiness and any unusual activities.
- Assist with laundry duties as required.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as necessary.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to maintain guest confidentiality.
- Consistent performance to the highest standards.
- Effective communication skills with guests.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic literacy and comprehension skills for product labels and guest communication.
- Proficiency in basic English is preferred.
- Background check clearance is required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending and lifting.
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varying shift lengths based on demand.
