Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and manage patients who are admitted to the hospitalist service, including managing chronic conditions and addressing acute medical issues.
- Work in the emergency department assisting with the admission of patients who are coming on to the hospitalist service.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans within the scope of practice.
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations, interpret laboratory and radiologic tests, and formulate diagnoses.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current unrestricted or pending licensure in the state of Michigan.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
