CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Fresno Valves & Castings, Inc. as a CNC Operator - Manufacturing. This role is responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines while providing support to our production team.

• Communicate effectively with the production team when parts are out of program.
• Assist with machining by studying work orders, blueprints, and plans to ensure accurate production.
• Program mills and lathes by entering instructions and points to optimize production efficiency.
• Load parts for subsequent automatic machining to meet production demands.
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform routine inspections of completed pieces to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain continuity among work shifts and supervisors to ensure seamless production.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Standing: frequent to continuous.

• Squatting/kneeling: occasional.
• Gripping/manipulation: frequent.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs. on an occasional basis from floor to waist.
