Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Human Resource Management
    • Assist in the development and implementation of human resource strategies and policies.
    • Coordinate recruitment and hiring processes, including job postings, interviews, and background checks.
    • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on human resource-related matters.
  • Payroll Administration
    • Process payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and benefits.
    • Manage payroll records, including employee time and attendance, garnishments, and leave balances.
    • Prepare and submit payroll reports, including quarterly and annual reports.
  • Benefits Administration
    • Administer employee benefits, including group insurance, life, medical, and dental plans.
    • Coordinate benefits enrollment and changes, including open enrollment and COBRA administration.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees on benefits-related matters.
  • Record-Keeping and Compliance
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and payroll records.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including OSHA, EEOC, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and Wage & Hour.
    • Participate in professional development activities to stay current on human resource, payroll, and benefits best practices.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Associate degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
    • Three years of experience in human resources, payroll, or benefits administration, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Proficiency in payroll and benefits software, including ADP or Paychex.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires occasional travel. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
