Job Summary:

  • Supervise patient care and coordinate all aspects of patient care, including initiating and updating the plan of care.
  • Complete all necessary documents in a timely manner, including Oasis, 485, and order submission.
  • Supervise, orient, and teach other clinical personnel as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including problem resolution and complaint investigation.

Requirements:

  • Current Louisiana RN license and CPR certification required.
  • Minimum of one to two years' experience in psychiatric care required.
  • Compassionate and skilled psychiatric RN with excellent time management skills.
  • Professional knowledge and experience indicating an adequate understanding of diagnoses and treatments of mental disorders and medication side effects/effects.
  • Previous home health or hospice experience preferred.
