Job Description:

The Project Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of resident areas, offices, corridors, and public spaces within our Senior Living Community at Ashlar Village. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain departmental policies, procedures, and objectives while ensuring environmental safety, cleanliness, and ambiance.
  • Perform general and project cleaning tasks, including stripping and refinishing floors, extracting carpets, and dry mopping and wet mopping floors.
  • Empty trash, biomedical waste, and recyclables, transporting them to central collection sites.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors, recognizing their needs, abilities, and physical condition.
  • Attend department and AV meetings, and participate in inservice programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
