This position operates on a 12-hour shift schedule, either from 6 AM to 6 PM or from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct precise data entry tasks within the MRP system while ensuring material traceability and accountability.
  • Interpret various work schedules, including Kanban, discrete jobs, bills of materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate diverse machinery while adhering to quality standards and production objectives.
  • Perform machine changeovers and minor adjustments, troubleshooting as necessary to maintain specifications.
  • Assist in the preventive maintenance of assigned equipment.
  • Independently initiate and operate machinery following established procedures.
  • Identify technical issues requiring assistance and communicate effectively with engineering support.
  • Provide constructive feedback regarding processes and machine performance to management.
  • Train fellow operators as needed.
  • Review and refine procedures for clarity and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Prepare workstations with necessary tools and supplies.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets.
  • Utilize barcoding and computerized systems as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal standards.
  • Uphold quality standards in all work performed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills with production supervisors and coordinators. The anticipated salary for this position is $22.00 per hour. This range is an estimate and actual compensation may vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role may also be eligible for bonuses or incentives.
