Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate opportunities for educational institutions, focusing on classroom integration, research initiatives, and project collaborations.
  • Enhance regional visibility and adoption of Qlik solutions within universities to achieve set performance targets.
  • Collaborate with regional training and sales teams to gain insights into the academic landscape.
  • Recruit and engage regional advocates (Qlik employees) to assist educators with technical inquiries and support during workshops.
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop success narratives, press communications, and promotional events aimed at students and educators.
  • Build and maintain relationships with educators to foster referrals within their institutions.
  • Demonstrate and articulate Qlik products and resources to effectively differentiate our offerings from competitors.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops and presentations for educators, students, and local business partners to promote Qlik products.
  • Utilize social media platforms to actively promote the Qlik Academic Program.

Impact and Collaboration:

  • Establish strong partnerships with regional marketing teams to prioritize initiatives that support the Qlik Academic Program.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to share innovative ideas and strategies for program growth.
  • Adapt to regional nuances to effectively engage with top-tier universities.
  • Develop robust relationships with training, sales, and technical teams to support educators and students.
  • Manage priorities effectively to meet the needs of the program.
  • Foster connections with educators at both new and established universities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a quota-driven role within inside sales or solutions development, preferably in technical or software sectors.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Qlik Sense is preferred, with a solid understanding of its features and functionalities.
  • Experience in marketing and academic program management is advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of the higher education landscape is preferred.

Travel Requirements:

  • Local travel to educational institutions may be necessary.
  • Occasional travel by air to universities in the region may be required.
  • Participation in team meetings may involve travel 1-2 times annually.
