As a Welder Fabrication Specialist with TransTech Energy, you will play a crucial part in our production process. Your primary responsibility will be to fabricate steel products, including ASME pressure vessels and related equipment.
We are seeking an experienced welder who can interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts and execute tasks efficiently. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations will ensure that our equipment is manufactured to the highest standards.
This is a night shift position, offering an additional $2/hour on top of base pay. We provide competitive PTO and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for growth within the company.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent manual dexterity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You must be able to pass a drug test and background check, lift up to 50 lbs, and have pulsed MIG welding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate steel products, including ASME pressure vessels and related equipment
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts and execute tasks
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature
- Perform visual inspections to identify errors and make corrections
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Read blueprints and understand measurements
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Pulsed MIG welding experience
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
