Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse plays a critical role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to a group of patients. This nurse leads the nursing team members in care as directed by the attending physician and in collaboration with other healthcare providers, aligning with the philosophy and policies of ProMedica Acute Care Hospitals. The nurse actively participates in creating an environment that fosters patient, family, physician, and employee satisfaction, making decisions based on patient-centered care philosophy using evidence-based practices focused on safety, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
Scope of Service:
The Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to individuals and groups requiring knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences. The nurse functions within the full scope of nursing practice as noted by the Board of Nursing of their designated state, adhering to compliance with any hospital accrediting bodies.
Part-Time Hours: 48 (bi-weekly)
