  • Responsibility for Battery Statement of Requirements (SOR) from an engineering perspective.
  • Responsibility for product processes such as BOM management, configuration management, and CAD models.
  • Identify and manage technical risks.
  • Ensure product costs are at an acceptable level.
  • Product 3D-layout maintenance.
  • Maintain product design according to the CPE quarter package process.
  • Knowledge of specific industry-related technologies and protocols.
  • Track actual work/estimate accuracy and report the variance to management.
  • Conduct regular product inspections and address any quality issues promptly.
  • Act as a project manager for small-scale R&D projects.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of proven experience in engineering with a focus on battery design, maintenance, testing, or charger systems. You should have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, demonstrated success in leading and delivering engineering projects, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field. Courses or work experience focused on battery technology, electrochemistry, or energy storage systems are a plus.
