Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Russian Interpreter to join our team in the Louisville, Kentucky area. This role involves providing consecutive in-person and remote interpretation services for various clients, including medical, legal, and social services. Responsibilities- Provide accurate and efficient interpretation services for clients, ensuring cultural sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for interpreting, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and patients, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment.
- Continuously improve vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge to meet the needs of diverse clients.
- A minimum of 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Intermediate computer skills and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to provide documentation of updated vaccinations and successfully complete a drug test and background check.
- Adherence to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
- 1+ years of interpreting experience.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $50,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
