Custodial Substitute

Job Overview

The role of the Custodial Substitute involves maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of assigned school facilities and grounds. This position requires performing routine and semi-skilled maintenance tasks related to both the interior and exterior of the buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the school are kept clean and well-maintained.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Respond to custodial needs on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• At least one year of experience in manual labor, ideally with some background in janitorial work.
• Completion of at least the eighth grade or equivalent; high school graduation is preferred.
