The Advanced Practice Provider will work in our Preoperative Medicine clinic, evaluating patients' health status and providing direct clinical care. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

  • Evaluate patients' health status through comprehensive appraisals.">
  • Prescribe medications and order laboratory tests as needed.">
  • Teach patients and families about their condition and treatment options.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with a minimum of 2 years' experience.">
  • Board Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.">
  • Licensed or eligible for licensing as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia.">
  • Active or eligible for DEA license.">
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.">
