Job Overview

Cash Waggner & Associates is seeking a qualified Licensed Surveyor to contribute to the success of our projects through meticulous fieldwork and comprehensive documentation utilizing cutting-edge technology and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams and survey personnel on various civil and site development projects, including transportation design and construction.
  • Engage in projects related to roadways, airports, railways, drainage systems, and site development.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of field crews.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of boundary research and field surveys, including property and ALTA/NSPS surveys.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in the principles and practices of computer-aided drafting.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, construction specifications, and relevant regulations.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific safety protocols and practices.
  • Ability to manage office operations efficiently, prioritize tasks, and maintain effective communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Willingness to travel locally within a 300-mile radius.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid Licensed Professional Land Surveyor credential.
  • Licensure in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan is preferred, or the capability to obtain licensure in these states within six months of employment.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to travel to various project locations.
  • Capability to access and navigate job sites and construction zones.
  • Proficiency in operating motorized equipment.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in diverse environmental conditions.

Compensation: Salary and hourly wages are commensurate with experience.
