This involves running EEG study sessions with research participants, administering diagnostic interviews, and assisting with the organization and analysis of study datasets.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key duties of this position include leading EEG study sessions with participants of various age ranges, administering diagnostic interviews, training students in study procedures, and assisting with data entry and processing. Additionally, the research technician will be responsible for maintaining lab spaces and servers, closely monitoring payments made to research participants, and ensuring the accuracy of dataset organization and analysis.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, cognitive studies, child studies, or a related field. Previous research experience working with human subjects is also required, along with experience working with children and families. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, and experience with data in SPSS, R, or other statistical software is preferred. Experience with programming languages such as Python, Presentation, or E-Prime is also desirable.
