Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Clinical Assistant to join our team at Monument Health. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination and treatment areas according to clinic standards
  • Complete patient rooming procedures, including vital signs and data collection
  • Assist with Point of Care laboratory testing and ensure accurate documentation in patient records
  • Complete assigned clerical activities and supply maintenance/ordering
  • Assist with scheduling follow-up care as ordered/directed
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Professional Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) within 60 days of hire
  • Preferred: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in General Studies, 80 hours of initial training in radiation safety, positioning, image review, and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
Physical Requirements

Heavy work - exerting up to 25 pounds of force constantly, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects. Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or tissues. Requires the ability to work designated shift lengths (including 8 and 12 hours), which may include night shifts or occasional irregular hours.
